In a remarkable October for Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), the company achieved a stunning 43% increase in sales compared to last year, fueled by strong demand and favorable GST rates.

Sales Performance Overview

For October 2025, TKM reported sales of 40,257 vehicles, significantly up from 28,138 units in October 2024. This impressive growth was driven by the stellar performance of the Innova series and models sharing platforms with Maruti Suzuki.

Top-Selling Models

The Toyota Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross together sold 11,089 units, marking a 25% rise from the previous year. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder followed closely, achieving sales of 11,555 units, which reflects an impressive 112% growth.

Highlights of Other Models

The Toyota Glanza, essentially a rebadged Maruti Baleno, ranked third with 6,162 units sold, up 44% from last year. The Urban Cruiser Taisor, based on the Maruti Fronx, recorded 4,561 units, reflecting a 48% year-over-year growth.

Additionally, the Toyota Rumion, which shares its platform with the Maruti Ertiga, achieved sales of 3,075 units, marking a 42% increase. However, the flagship Toyota Fortuner saw a sales decline of 21%, with only 2,920 units sold.

Growth Among CBU Models

TKM’s Completely Built Unit (CBU) lineup also demonstrated positive momentum. The Toyota Vellfire experienced a 46% increase in sales, totaling 168 units, while the Land Cruiser 300, which had no sales last October, sold 74 units this month.
